Tim Frank, The NBA, Dwayne Wade and Bandage Gate

Miami Heat player Dwayne Wayne has been wearing a bandage under his eye since getting stitches on February 8th. He has some cash and had personalized bandages made - some said 'Wade', some 'Flash' and some were the American Flag.

Well the NBA, with nothing else to worry about, as banned the use of these bandages as 'promotional gear'.

So why have we printed bandages in that way each time? Because the NBA sent spokesman Tim Frank to comment on the situation. And what did Frank say? "We spoke to them," Frank said. "A player can wear a Band-Aid for healthcare purposes, but it shouldn't have any name or identifications on it."

Hey, dopey. Referring to a bandage as a 'Band-Aid' is...promotional.

If you are going to nit and pick...expect it back.
