**Update...ESPN has spoken to Hill.ESPN's Jemele Hill (left) urged Green Bay Packers' fans to throw batteries at Brett Favre when he returns as a Minnesota Viking.
Hill has been suspended in the past for comparing the Boston Celtics to Hitler and nuclear war.
“Jemele has been relieved of her writing and on-air responsibilities for a period of time to reflect on the impact of her words,” ESPN spokesman Paul Melvin said in an e-mailed statement [June 2008].
Breaking Godwin's law and now inciting battery...wonder how ESPN's new ombudsman, Dan Ohlmeyer, and ESPN will react to this classy gem. This still is ESPN right? It isn't a push the envelope morning radio show. Or a website.....
