Wrong Number. That is what ESPN and thousands of other sites reported after Jaime Diaz' article Eye of the Storm hit the net.
Only problem? It wasn't true and the article has been changed:
It was a recipe for entitlement. It's a condition the average person resents and rejects as an excuse for bad behavior. Many who live in the public eye have a more empathetic perspective and have been more willing to lend Woods support. Bill Clinton, whose experience might be particularly instructive, made a personal call to offer encouragement.US Magazine simply removed the article pictured above without further note.
At least ESPN credited 'News Services' instead of having poor Jason Sobel taking the credit...
