TMZ is now live-streaming a news conference at the LA law office of noted publicity maven Gloria Allred, who will reveal the identity of a “Major League Baseball coach” she claims made “shocking gay slurs” and used “vulgar sexual gestures” at a recent game, in front of, among others, nine-year-old twins. It’s Braves coach Roger McDowell, who allegedly made the comment at my beloved AT&T Park in San Francisco, during batting practice.
Nice game, pretty boy. (And by 9-year-old twins, we're assuming she's not referring to breast implants.)
*Update: According to Allred, "McDowell yelled at three male fans in the bleachers, asking them 'are you a homo couple or a threesome?' and later made lewd gestures with a bat. When [Justin] Quinn protested that his girls were present, McDowell allegedly said “Kids don’t belong at the f*****g ballpark,” and threatened Quinn, asking “How much do you think your teeth are worth?” The family also claims they witnessed McDowell tell the group of male fans, “Are you three giving it to each other in the ass?”
“Even though I am not gay, and these statements were not directed at me, I heard them, and so did my nine-year-old daughters. Children should not be told that they do not belong at the ballpark,” Quinn added.
