Mike Metzger, The Godfather of Freestyle Motocross, has become synonymous with the headline Motocross Rider Mike Metzger Seriously Injured Following Crash. Sources indicate that Mike was seriously injured again this weekend after crashing at his home in Menifee, CA.

Initial reports have Mike in ICU listed as 'critical stable.' Metzger apparently lacerated a kidney and his liver, broke his collarbone, and suffered broken vertebrae in his back and neck. Reportedly several blood transfusions already performed.

Mike's agent, Lucas Mirtl, tweeted: 2 hospitals in the past 4 hours Please send positive thoughts and parties to @fmxgodfather and @Jamesfosterx #superbummed

later adding: Hey I am here at the hospital with mike he is currently critical condition but is stabilized please keep him in your thoughts and prayers
