Notre Dame Fan Had a Heart Attack at Michigan Game Saturday

69-year-old Notre Dame fan Leo Staudacher had his heart stop under the lights during the 2nd quarter of Saturday night's ND / Michigan game. A bystander performed CPR on Leo until the automated electric defibrillator was retrieved.

"My family watched while they shocked me with the paddles," Staudacher said, "But it was the fans and their prompt CPR that saved my life."

"I saw the last two touchdowns from the ICU unit," Staudacher said. "It was great to witness an amazing match-up between two old rivals - at least for the first quarter and half anyway."
