Blitz buddy, ex-Denver Bronco cheerleader and Ultimate Spike Girl, Renee Herlocker will be reporting live from the street when ESPN airs Nathan’s International Hot Dog Eating Contest live from Coney Island on the 4th of July.

Takeru Kobayashi may be over at 230 Fifth, butt, Renee certainly is enough reason to not mute Major League Eating's Rich and George Shea.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy Escapes Poorly Executed Lapel Throw [Video]

Vlogger: A man in a crowd grabbed French President Nicolas Sarkozy by the shoulder and nearly knocked him to the ground before being tackled by security officers and detained. The unusually aggressive incident occurred as the president shook hands with a crowd in the town of Brax in southwest France. The assailant was not armed, according to the national police service. An official with the service said the 32-year-old Frenchman lives in the Lot-et-Garonne region and works in the theatre business. The official was not authorised to be publicly named due to police policy. The man was detained and being questioned in the nearby town of Agen.

Obama 'Kinda a Dick': MSNBC analyst Mark Halperin [Video]

During an appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe yesterday, Time Magazine's editor and MSNBC analyst Mark Halperin said that he thought President Obama "was kinda a dick yesterday".

In honor of the 4th of July, free speech and all of that nonsense, everyone had a good chuckle and forgot about it. No, just kidding, he apologised and was suspended indefinitely.

Bust Byte - Computer Stripped of Chess Titles

Rybka, the chess-playing computer that won the past four World Computer Chess Championships, has had those wins stripped by the International Computer Games Association (ICGA). ICGA also imposed a lifetime ban on programmer and Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate Vasik Rajlich. Rajlich was accused of ripping off the Rybka's coding.

They've demanded the return of trophies and prize money the program won.

Watch - Rybka is going to wind up on display at the San Diego Hall of Champions. No doubt.

ESPN's Dominic Raynor Uses Brooks Peck's Quotes, Doesn't Cite Him; Yes, Of Course They Were Fake

Now a scold for Dominic Raynor - don't use another site's material sans cites. Brooks Peck ran a joke article Future News: Messi vows that even his ghost will play for Barca on Tuesday. Guess what Raynor ran this morning? Yep.

Peck tweeted the lifting and, like a ghost, that part of the story disappeared from ESPN. But check the link's format. 'Ghost' is readily apparent.

Penthouse Pet Isis Taylor at Rick's Cabaret Last Night

Rick's Cabaret New York (the offical gentlemen's club of Bob's Blitz) held a book release party for Confessions of the Hundred Hottest Porn Stars by Lainie Speiser last week. There were several porn stars at the party, and one of the hottest was 21 year-old Isis Taylor, who was the September '10 "Penthouse Pet of the Month," a "Hustler Honey," and winner of XFANZ "New Starlet of the Year, 2010."

Besides being featured in the book, Isis is a big sports fan. And Rex Ryan? She wears a size 9 shoe.

He Can't Drive a Golf Cart [on] 55, Drunk

Franscisco Rosendo, 45 of Brooklyn, was arrested for driving a golf cart along State Route 55 in Liberty, NY. Rosendo was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation and aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Teen's Speech Impediment Leads to Pepper Spray, Beating, Tasing and Backup from 20 Cops

Dayton, Ohio: 17-year-old Jesse Kersey, described as mentally challenged/handicapped by his mother, was allegedly beaten, tased, pepper sprayed and confronted by 20 some officers who thought his speech impediment was a sign of disrepect.

Mom adds: Willie Hooper, the officer who initially stopped Jesse on his bike, knew he was mentally challenged.

Jesse was handcuffed and hogtied before being placed in the back of a police cruiser.

Blogger Jailed for Calling Noodles "Too Salty"

Liu, a Taiwanese food blogger, visited a beef noodle restaurant owned by Yang. Liu said that the noodles were too salty, Yang was a bully, and she wasn't thrilled with the cockroaches crawling around either.

Yang sued for defamation. And won.

Liu was sentenced to 30 days in detention, two years of probation and was ordered her to pay $6,900 in compensation to the restaurant after an inspection found that the conditions were sanitary.
