Hey NFL? Those St. Louis Rams London Home Games? Not so Fast...

You know the annoying St. Louis Rams games the NFL plans to hold in London's Wembley Stadium over the next 3 years? The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission has something to say about that:

"...our lease with the Rams requires that the Rams play all their home games in the Edward Jones Dome. We immediately brought this to the Rams' attention and are awaiting their reply."

And? New England owner Robert Kraft already said last week he wasn't giving up his home games for Roger Goodell's little travel plans.

Meanwhile Goodell, always about 3 years behind hot trends, pointed out what you've been saying for 4 years. HDTV has made watching NFL games at home (your home) better than paying PSLs:

Speaking on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” to be aired tomorrow, Roger said the recession was good because “People want to feel part of a group and right now during these difficult times, they can turn on free television and watch the greatest entertainment that’s out there.” But then added, "that because the experience is so great at home," it becomes more challenging to get fans to attend games.

No kidding? The same commish who called PSLs 'a good investment.'
