'Our Lady of Sorrows' HS forfeits baseball championship rather than play a team with a girl on it

"This is not a contact sport, it shouldn't be an issue," Pamela Sultzbach, mother of Mesa Preparatory Academy freshman baseball player Paige Sultzbach said. "It wasn't that they were afraid they were going to hurt or injure her, it's that (they believe) that a girl's place is not on a field." That in response to the weasels at Our Lady of Sorrows who decided to forfeit the Arizona Charter Athletic Association state championship at Phoenix College last night rather than face Paige and her team. The box score looks like this: "Our Lady of Sorrows v Mesa Prep (Championship Game) -- Phoenix College -- Won -- 2 - 0"

Mesa Prep beat Lady of Sorrows twice during the regular season (7-5 and 11-3)...sans Paige -- who sat out in respect to Prep's archaic leadership.

"Rooted in the spiritual tradition of the Catholic faith and called to be disciples of Jesus Christ, we the people of Our Mother of Sorrows Parish are here to proclaim the Good News of God’s love for all people." Except, of course, female baseball players. As it is in the Bible, now and forever. BECAUSE SUCCESS COMES FROM DISCIPLINE!!!!
