34-year-old Praveen Chandra and his girlfriend, 26-year-old UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste (Lopez, mug shot above via Metro Police) were both arrested on counts of battery domestic violence this weekend in Las Vegas according to arrest reports released today. A Wynn Las Vegas hotel employee heard a crashing sound followed by Arianny running from the room at around 4:30 am Saturday.
The ring girl told police that her boyfriend had choked her and squeezed her right arm during an argument allegedly over Praveen sending text messages to other women. Celeste has scratches on her right arm and Chandra has injuries to his nose and chest.
Detectives interviewed Chandra who said the booze-fueled fight started in a limousine where... Arianny kicked him in the nose.
Both displayed signs that they were drinking prior to the fight, according to police, and the hotel room apparenlty was trashed. "Police said the couple threw glass vases at each other, and Celeste was treated for a cut on her foot after stepping in broken glass."
Praveen said he didn't know how Celeste got the cuts on her arm and denied touching her.

MMA Cage Girl and Tapout Magazine writer Jennifer Swift wasn't as forgiving. She tweets, "It's not about what how you walk around the cage it's about how you conduct yourself outside of it." Later adding, "Attn MMA Media: Becareful reporting on the Arianny situation you might upset people. #CensoredNews"
A hearing for Arianny & Praveen is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Friday in Las Vegas Justice Court.
