Knicks Blogger Tommy Dee Talks Lin, Jackson, Twitter Fights & Bloggers v Newspapers

Bob spoke to The NY Knicks Blog writer Tommy Dee today. The Emmy winner never gloats, but never backs down either. He talked Phil Jackson and what the Knicks should do with Jeremy Lin. Tommy also touched on Twitter fights and the battle between bloggers and the MSM (ie, Alan Hahn, Marc Berman, and Frank Isola).

Dee also had a lot to say about ESPN, the future of the NY Knicks, and Craig Carton's parents? Yep, Craig Carton's parents.

And all that right as the arbitrator sided with the NBPA, granting early-Bird rights to Lin and Steve Novak. What are the odds of that...? NBA Lottery like.

I took the time to listen to all 38 minutes of this and it was no more than a press release. The interviewee is constantly "misunderstood" because he's very amateur in how he presents the points he argues. Additionally, he doesn't realize that when you go out on a limb, you're going to get roasted. This speaks nothing of the quality of the writing on his blog which is filled with 8th grade level diction and grammar. Perhaps he's been writing online for 10 years without making it big in the journalism world because he doesn't put enough value to the written word. Seriously, when it's the majority that's "misunderstanding" you, it's time to be reflective and look in the mirror

The comment above sounds like someone who has lost a debate with Mr. Dee. The list is long. The site is great. Nowhere else does a Knicks fan have quick news and opinion. Nowhere.

Tommy Dee does not block those who disagree with him on Twitter. He's blocked those that yell that they disagree with him.
