Jeeze, Brett Lawrie's Fall into the Camera Well is Something

Toronto Blue Jays 3B Brett Lawrie fell into the Yankee Stadium section that hosts the camera folks along third attempting to catch Mark Teixeira's pop up yesterday, whipping his leg into a metal bar on the way down.



X-Ray's were negative and he is day-to-day with a bruised calf. "I saw him go down and I heard a loud crash," Teixeira said. "You just really worry about a guy's neck and head and back and you never want to see a guy get hurt, especially on a ball you hit. . . . I'm just glad that nothing was seriously injured."

Excellent idea, Yankee Stadium architects. A camera bay with a 6 foot drop. No sharks?
