Jian Feng of Northern China has been awarded a divorce and $120,000 because his wife was ugly. It was not determined that the Misses was ugly until after she bore him an ugly baby. The ugly baby didn't look like her and it didn't look like him so he immediately determined that she had cheated on him.
But she hadn't. She was, in fact, very ugly herself. She had spent $100k on plastic surgery in order to grab his attention.
Feng took the only right-minded course of action and divorced and sued her, claiming that she got him to marry her under false pretences. The false pretence presumably being that she was good looking. Incredibly, the (presumably male) judge sympathised with Feng and he won $120,000 in the case.
The judge had apparently never heard of Jimmy Soul's recommendation to 'pick an ugly girl to marry you.'
