Would it surprise you if Arod tore down the centaur in his apartment last night?

Did Yankees skipper Joe Girardi win the proverbial battle by pinch hitting for Alex Rodriguez last night only to set the franchise up to lose wars through 2017? Would it surprise you if A-Rod tore up the sheetrock in his apartment last night?

Sure, he said all the right things after he was pitch it for by Raul Ibanez. But this is a world class athlete who was in MLB MVP discussions for at least 7 of his major league seasons. (Hell he's won it three times.)

This is a guy who has/had a centaur self-portrait above his god damn bed.

Sure, he's just fine with this.

Another guy who knows about superstardom decided to weigh in on the activities at Yankee Stadium last night. LA Laker Kobe Bryant bwo AP reporter Greg Beacham who tweets:

Kobe just heard about the Yankees game: "I'm gonna have to call A-Rod, talk him off the ledge."
