This is actually a thing because Mike Francesa does not like people who fill-in for him skipping his theme music. Back in the day, Francesa would go apeshit on Chris Russo if Dog didn't play the tune when Mike was off. Yesterday, Joe Benigno's producers decided to skip it. Immediately one knew Joe was afraid of the repercussions and, bam, there was the song making a late, but full, appearance.
