Driver Mike Stofflet's race car flips, bursts into flames (1st person POV)

FOX News insider says this is video posted by driver Mike Stofflet from a race last weekend at Mahoning Valley Speedway in PA. After his modified dirt car flipped, gasoline is seen pooling and then...bam, we have ignition. His crew got him out and Michael escaped with just a sore neck.

Martha MacCallum talked to Stofflet this morning on America's Newsroom. He explained that while the car was on its side, he was unable to unlatch his seat belt. He said it was "easy" to get out once the car was turned upright again, even though at that point he was inside a raging inferno.

Asked how he kept calm, Mike replied: "I really don't know. I guess I just told myself you'll get through this, just keep yourself as calm as possible. I've seen guys wreck before in racing incidents and cars go up in flames and they get out. I guess I had a lot of faith in myself to be able to get out of there." He added on YouTube, "It happend during the heat we got it back in the pits and me and my crew got it back together in 25-30 took hot laps it worked well and then ran the feature and it was a touch loose and ended up 5th."

Wow.
