AUDIO: Film critic Jeffrey Lyons says Joe DiMaggio dated transgender Christine Jorgensen

Appearing on the Joe Piscopo Show last Friday, Film critic Jeffrey Lyons claimed that his family was close with transgender actor Christine Jorgensen...and that they hooked Jorgensen up with The Yankee Clipper, Joe DiMaggio.

“My parents were friendly with her slash him. They fixed him, her up with DiMaggio.”

Then, sounding a lot like Mike Francesa, Piscopo complained about Bruce Jenner broadcasting his sexuality. "I don't care what you are but don't broadcast it. I gotta go to ShopRite with my kids and look at the tabloids. What is that? What is that?!"
