Garth Brooks to play Yankee Stadium, announces new video series

Garth Brooks announced that he will be performing at New York’s Yankee Stadium on July 9: “I think if you’re going to come back to New York, you want to try and do something, you know, in a big way, because that’s all this town knows, is big ways, and this opportunity came up from Yankee Stadium, it came up from the Yankees organization.”

Tickets for the July 9 show go on sale on Friday.

The singer also announced an upcoming video series called Inside Studio G.
