WFAN's Craig Carton broke this thing and told you Ryan Lochte and his swimming crew were leaving the bar in a cab - a cab that the people of Rio were not going to let leave that neighborhood.
The car was stopped and someone asked them to get out of the car and "comply."
Comply was the word that was given to Craig in quotes.
Everyone got out of the car except for Ryan Lochte who was F-bombing everyone and that's how he wound up at gunpoint before cooler heads prevailed and they swimmers went back to the hotel.
Carton told you Ryan Lochte and his swimming buddies were never at that gas station.
Lochte and U.S. teammates Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger and Jimmy Feigen went to a gas station at about 6 a.m. Sunday, a police official told AP, and broke a door to an outside bathroom when they couldn't get in.
They were confronted by an armed security guard, but he did not point the gun at the athletes, the official said.
A manager asked the swimmers to pay for the broken door and they gave him an undisclosed amount of money, the official said.
Lochte previously said the U.S. swimmers were in a taxi early Sunday morning
