Phil Mushnick answers 'all black soul groups in the 70s were on Motown' charge

Sunday, Phil Mushnick wrote in the NY Post: "Of course, that makes no sense; it defies sense. Even MLB must know that. But that won’t change a thing. So let’s sing some 1970s Motown, Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose. Ready? All together: “It’s too late to turn back now …”"

We immediately had email from YouTube legend SamSpinChat. Sam has followed up by posting the music above under the headline Phil Mushnick thinks this is Motown - Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose -- adding, "Phil Mushnick wrote that this is a Motown song. (It is not.) Apparently he thinks all black soul groups in the 70s were on Motown."

Reached for comment, Phil replied, "I wrote it as Motown genre, not label."
