Joakim Noah casually shooting free throws at the start of ring ceremony. He *loves* Cleveland. pic.twitter.com/6mO3arBxTA— Charlie Hatch (@charliehatch_) October 25, 2016
Noah, who was booed loudly during pregame introductions, never actually went to the locker room, watching the beginning stages of the ceremony from a tunnel.
“I was just warming up,’’ Noah said.
Before the game, the former Bull congratulated Cleveland for the title, but needled the city by adding, “Even though it’s not a vacation spot."
Again. Recall 2010:
The Knicks, under orders from the arena personnel, were asked to stay in the locker room during the 20-minute ceremony. Coach Jeff Hornacek held a team meeting.
“We were watching film,’’ Carmelo Anthony said. “We didn’t want to watch that anyway."
The warmed up Noah scored...zero points. Apparently NYC is a good place to go for a vacation...
