FAIL: Jets defense refused to hit 'lead blocker' Tom Brady

Earlier this month, Darrelle Revis went out of his way to not make tackles. Yesterday - Patriots QB Tom Brady got out in front as a lead blocker on a run. Hopping around like Frankenstein, no fewer than 2 NY Jets (Marcus Gilchrist & Jordan Jenkins were 'most' guilty) had clean shots at him...and went out of their collective ways not to hit him.

Today on WEEI, Brady said, “I feel like, as a player, you want to be available to your team. For a quarterback, it’s hard to show your toughness when you’re not playing. I mean, you guys saw what I did when I got out in front of a running back. I can’t do shit. It’s like you’re on the highway. It’s so fast. I’m never out there.”

To which a host replied, “You’re supposed to lower your shoulders!”

And defensive players are supposed to take his head off. And the evidence is brutal.

Like he had a red jersey on. (And Todd Bowles is a defensive coach?) Craig Carton was shocked the Jets defense didn't rip Tom Brady's head off.
