MSG fires security chief Frank Benedetto 2 days after Charles Oakley incident

The Madison Square Garden Company has parted ways with its security chief, two days after Charles Oakley was arrested after getting into an altercation at a New York Knicks game according to DNAInfo New York.

The official wouldn't say whether the firing of Frank Benedetto, formerly the senior vice president for security for MSG, was related to the Oakley incident.

Another source told The Undefeated that Benedetto was employed at MSG for about six months, adding "we're not getting rid of a guy who was here for 30 years because of (the Oakley incident)." The security chief is not in any of the video footage involving Oakley, the source said.

Dismissed as 'no big deal' yesterday...Mike Francesa is still puking MSG Oakley bull today.
