TATTBOY got his eyeball and penis tattooed to handle his chronic pain

After a routine operation left him with permanent nerve damage, Tattboy Holden was left dealing with chronic pain. To handle this, he ended up getting over 90 percent of his body covered in tattoos, which he claims helps to manage the discomfort.

He should have called Dr. Babak Azizzadeh. Or Dr. Gary Heir, DMD (a savior).

Counter irritant. OK, got it. Tattboy said: ‘I was on some medication that gave me side effects and I needed an operation. After a few operations I was left with nerve damage that cannot be repaired.

‘I had already had some tattoos in the past, but through the course of this I found tattoos were a form of pain therapy. I call it “pain distraction”.

If the design is large enough, it distracts Tattboy from the pain. He explains: ‘It still hurts, but it’s on your terms. The chronic pain returns eventually, but it’s a release.’

Tattboy needs to speak to the good docs.
