Sad: Mike Francesa finished 2nd in his final full ratings period at WFAN...to Xmas music

I was New York's #2 once despite all kinds of specials and promotions...

WFAN ranked second in afternoon drive time for the last full ratings book of the Mike Francesa era covering 9/14/17 through December 6, 2017.

From 3 to 7 PM, WFAN averaged 6.6 percent of the audience in the key demographic of men ages 25-54 that only radio folk care about. That trailed WLTW by a full half point at 7.1

Lite FM played Christmas music.

Michael Kay’s ESPN New York afternoon program ranked a distance fourth at 5.0

For the entirety of Francesa’s actual time slot of 1 to 6:30 PM (which included the failed 'Francesa, A Night to Remember in the Tilles Center,' his embarrassing 2nd to last show from The Paley Center, AND Francesa's final WFAN show) he finished second in the fall book to WLTW, 7.2 to 6.7. ESPN New York was an embarrassing seventh during that period at 4.6.

Up next - the Terrible Trio.

Overall ratings crashed for WFAN from November's 5.2 to December's 3.9 in part due to Jerry Recco's failed co-hosting. (Cume crashed from 1,952,700 to 1,473,200)
WEPN? Dropped from 1.8 to 1.4 while cume only dumped from 1,103,600 to 1,025,600.

That's about as close as its been in recent memory...
