CNBC made video of Tyler Mathisen saying men at Time Inc. disappeared behind closed doors with the SI Swimsuit edition disappear

Yesterday MJ Day, Sports Illustrated swimsuit 2018 editor, discussed this year's swimsuit edition and how they approached it in the #MeToo era on Power Lunch. (They scribbled things on the half naked models.)

CNBC's Tyler Mathisen (who worked at Time published Money) shot back, "I remember the days that those things [the Swimsuit Edition] dropped in the halls of Time Inc. and the next thing you would hear would be all the men's doors closing...to their offices."

CNBC? They made the video disappear.

The link to SI Swimsuit issue takes on empowerment is gone too. Replaced instead by a piece titled Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editor: Sexy and empowered can go together here that makes no mention of the Time Inc. claim.

MSN and YAHOO! still have the soundbite.

Lost tapes.

And right now on SI Swimsuit's YouTube page is a video titled, "Alexis Ren Sculpts & Trims Her 'Bush' For Sultry Aruba Shoot | Candids | Sports Illustrated Swimsuit."

Yep...empowering.
