Jonathan Friedman officially joins AM 970 The Answer

We reported last month that Jonathan Friedman was joining AM 970 The Answer WNYM beginning Saturday, August 11th. (The show will run 8PM to 10PM and will feature Sports news, local/national great guests, and a call in format.) Jon told us, "You bring it, we’ll talk about it! I’m excited, a great powerful signal and I get to share my love and enthusiasm for sports!"

Well the official announcement just came across the boards.


SPORTS TALK SHOW HOST JONATHAN FRIEDMAN TO JOIN AM970 THE ANSWER IN AN ALL NEW SPORTS SHOW!


NEW YORK, NY -- August, 2018 -- Salem Media announced today that successful sports talk show host Jonathan Friedman and his show “Talking Sports” has joined AM970 The Answer. Talking Sports will debut Saturday August 11th, 8-10PM.

“After a successful run at WMTR AM and WCTC AM in New Jersey, I wanted a bigger stage to bring the show," said the 52 year old resident of New Jersey. Friedman, who by day is an advertising executive with 30 years experience, has been with Success Communications Group for the last 15 years. Jonathan, who was the creator of the well-known campaign for Modell's Sporting Goods Gotta Go To Mo’s has handled different advertising categories for many New Jersey and National companies.

“Growing up in Atlanta and being a huge fan of The Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, and Braves, my love for sports started early in my life and had to follow other teams also, because as we all know, I’m not full of championships -- so my interest in other teams kept me passionate about sports.”

“No matter who I talk to, the topic always seems to go to sports because that’s how I connect with people and obviously callers."
