Joe Benigno's attorneys 'deny' he would be MIA during Joe and Evan breaks

Lauren Lockwood, in the CBS Radio Inc. sexual harassment lawsuit, claims that she would have to leave her desk during the Joe & Evan show's commercial breaks in order to avoid Joe Benigno. She added in the lawsuit that his producer, Ernie Acosta, would have to repeatedly call out 'Joe!' to get him back on air. It's paragraph 104 in her complaint. "To avoid Defendant BENIGNO, PLAINTIFF would have to leave her desk during his show's commercial breaks. His producer would have to repeatedly call BENIGNO's to get him back on air."

In the 'DEFENDANTS’ VERIFIED ANSWER AND DEFENSES' - paragraph 104 is filed as 'Denied' by the defendants.

The only other interesting answers pertain to the following:

100. BENIGNO's office had a collage of Sports Illustrated bathing suit models plastered all over, along with a wall of photographs of female employees, and blown up photos of himself in the middle of these female employees, with personalized signatures from the female employees.

101. In 2016, Defendant BENIGNO filmed a short dance video for Defendants' Sales Town Hall Meeting in which he chose his top rated female employees around the office to dance with him in the video

& 110. Despite Defendant BENIGNO's misconduct, Defendants CBS RADIO renewed Defendant BENIGNO's contract for another three years on November 9, 2017 as their on air broadcasted radio personality to host the CBS RADIO network's midday show. Adding, 'Defendant Benigno's former partner on his show, Sid Rosenberg was eventually fired after years of misconduct involving prostitutes, drugs and alcohol.'

Answers:

100. Defendants admit only that Paragraph 100 of the Complaint purports to characterize photographs, which speak for themselves. Defendants deny the remaining allegations in Paragraph 100 of the Complaint.

101. Defendants admit only that Mr. Benigno participated in a video for a town hall meeting. Defendants deny the remaining allegations in Paragraph 101 of the Complaint.

110. Defendants admit only that Mr. Benigno’s contract to host the WFAN mid-day show was renewed in or about November 2017 for a three-year period, and that Sid Rosenberg’s employment was at one point terminated. Defendants deny the remaining allegations in Paragraph 110 of the Complaint.

The interesting portion of 104 is that it is 100% denied. Other paragraph answers include 'denied' except they 'admit to xyx.' Interesting in that both Jerry Recco & Gregg Giannotti confirmed ON AIR the allegation that Joe Benigno 'could never be found' during Joe & Evan breaks and that his producer would have to repeatedly call BENIGNO's name to get him back on air.

Why was it not 'denied that defendant was bothering plaintiff during breaks' but 'admitted that his producer would have to repeatedly call BENIGNO's to get him back on air'?
