Failing Wall Township (NJ) HS photochopped Donald Trump shirt out of yearbook

Remember those celebs predicting 'There will be no President Trump'? Someone or somebodies at failing Wall Township (New Jersey) High School want to make it true again: Photoschopping out 3 students' Donald Trump shirts in this year's yearbook.

Grant Berardo is one with full photographic evidence. (More pics at NY Post.)

Could have blacked this out without pixelating his face with MS Paint...

Grant had the “TRUMP Make America Great Again” motto deleted from his T-shirt, while a junior classmate had his fleece “Trump” vest sanitized. A third student, the freshman class president, was stunned to see that her selected quote — a Trump utterance — never made it to print.

Berardo's father Joseph noted that a student wearing a New Jersey Devils shirt and a kid in a Led Zeppelin tee weren’t censored. (Neither was a student in a Reagan-Bush shirt who appeared in a candid group shot. He also recalled Barack Obama T-shirts in past yearbooks.) He wants the photos fixed and new yearbooks issued. “And I want a letter from the administration explaining why the yearbooks are being reissued, and it should be used as a teaching moment related to the First Amendment in civil discourse,” the father added.

Berardo told The Post he has a scheduled sit-down with Principal Rosaleen Sirchio and yearbook advisor Susan Parsons on Monday.

Parsons told The Post, “We have never made any action against any political party.” When asked if she knew who scrubbed the Trump images, she said, “I’m going to hang up.”

Interesting is how Mrs. Parsons Technology Page has a photo of Susan Parsons that strangely resembles the Obama "Hope" poster designed by artist Shepard Fairey.

"We're very angry," said Janet Dobrovich-Fago, the mother of the other two students. "When we saw that Montana's (her daughter's) quote dropped out, we thought it was a mistake because all the other class presidents' quotes were still there. But when we saw that Wyatt's (her son's) shirt was photoshopped and we heard about Grant, I knew this was not a coincidence. This was purposeful and it's wrong."

School needs to know the effect Donald Trump has on kids.

Wall superintendent Cheryl Dyer sent a letter out to parents after the story appeared in this space Friday afternoon, saying she was "investigating an allegation of censorship and the possible violation of First Amendment rights in the high school yearbook this year.

"Two parents have made me aware ... the attire of their children was altered and that comments or quotes were not published," the letter said. "In all of the instances that I am aware of, references to and support of President Trump were removed.

"There is nothing in our student dress code that would prevent a student from expressing his or her political views and support for a candidate for political office via appropriate clothing. Rather, I applaud students for becoming involved in politics and for participation in our democratic society," the letter said. "The high school administration was not aware of and does not condone any censorship of political views on the part of our students ... The actions of the staff involved will be addressed as soon as the investigation is concluded."
