Ogden NY Police Sgt Travis Gray saves dog in icy lake on his hands & knees

Sgt. Travis Gray of the Ogden, New York, police walked on ice then crawled on his hands and knees (sans gloves) at 2 a.m. Monday February 25th to save a dog who had fallen into the freezing water.

Sgt. Gray then took the animal to Gates Volunteer Ambulance Service, "and they were nice enough to assist us with some blankets to warm up the dog," said Ogden Police Chief Christopher Mears. "As soon as he was warmed up, he was fine." The pop was taken to the Sweden Animal Shelter and authorities found its owner.
