The Twins' Brian Dozier Literally 'Hit a Curveball'

Minnesota Twins shortstop Brian Dozier showed us why you're supposed to run hard to first on any ball you hit. As you can see in the video below, Dozier literally hit a curveball during his 5th inning at-bat against the Royals on Saturday. His ball started off foul, but then went fair because it was hit with so much spin. Teammate Ryan Doumit was even able to score from second on the single. h/t SportsGrid



After getting such a good break on that play, it's no surprise the Twins ended up winning 7-2.

i hope every little leaguer and high school player sees this video. Oh and by the way if it had been Soriano he'd be looking at the fence still!
