Chris Broussard's Sources are Apparently NBA Press Releases

We had a lot of fun watching ESPN's Chris Broussard tweet 'source details' regarding what the NJ Nets were supposedly offering the Orlando Magic for Dwight Howard yesterday...only to realize his sources also were having a good time as he constantly revised what the supposed offer was. Deadspin's Erik Malinowski? "Mr. Sarver, Lon Babby, Lance Blanks, the front office staff and Coach Gentry run a first-class organization, and I strongly feel they are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is now."

Broussard? He tweeted 7 minutes later:

Go ahead. Go back and read the press release again.

Never trust media's pointless source driven rumors when it comes to trades and FA signings. Trust it even less if it comes from ESPN, after said trade/sign is already complete.
