Canada's Thomas Neal Full Extension Catch a Gem

Canada Little League center fielder Thomas Neal's LLWS profile states that his defense highlights 'Solid angles/routes.' This play from today's matchup with Mexico pretty much confirms as much as he lunges to save an extra base hit off the bat of Eduardo Abrego.



"The moment I saw it, I just had this feeling he was going to catch it," Vancouver pitcher Ataru Yamaguchi said of Neal's play. "I told him he was my best friend now. He wasn't before. He was my fourth...just to clarify."

Neals defensive prowess helped Vancouver beat Mexico, 13-9.
