Owen Groesser is an eighth grader at Van Hoosen Junior High School in Michigan. He battles Down's Syndrome. Van Hoosen played its final basketball game of the year yesterday and Owen had not played a single minute. Late in the contest...here was Groesser checking in for the first time. (You see where this is going?) Owen received a pass - readied himself for the set shot, and let it fly. For three.
According to ESPN's SportsCenter, Owen hit another tre' a minute or so later leaving him with 6 points in roughly two minutes of play. Go Owen. Go.
