Why would Dan Patrick interview possibly suffering from dementia Bobby Knight?

Phil Mushnick writes this morning, "Though I never have been a Bobby Knight fan — he fully was under impression his dignity was above all others’ — that he was interviewed last week on the “Dan Patrick Show,” during which he became illogically harsh even by his despotic standards — he wished death on the Indiana University administrators who canned him — seemed unfair.

"Knight quietly left ESPN in 2015 after it became suspected during his decreasing on-air schedule as a college basketball analyst, as well as off the air, according to sources, that he was suffering dementia."

Not only did lazy Dan Patrick bring Knight on and not call him out on the statement, he's using it to actively promote his failing show.
