Morons at FOX Sports hired failed flag football host & dog murderer Michael Vick

FOX Sports, which just announced Pete Rose had been fired after allegations of statutory rape, has hired 'four time NFL Pro Bowler' Michael Vick. The release is almost as sickening as the hire.

One of the most thrilling quarterbacks to ever play in the National Football League, four-time NFL Pro Bowler Michael Vick joins FOX Sports as a studio analyst for FOX NFL KICKOFF, as well as FS1 studio programming during the 2017 NFL season. The announcement was made today by John Entz, President of Production and Executive Producer, FOX Sports.

“Michael will be a huge addition to both FOX NFL KICKOFF and our FS1 studio shows,” Entz said. “He was obviously an outstanding player but we feel he has an incredibly bright future as an analyst. He has stayed close to the game and has many relationships with today’s current coaches and players. We feel he can bring a truly unique perspective that intrigues and engages our viewers.”

Vick joins a talented FOX NFL KICKOFF roster, including host Charissa Thompson and fellow studio analysts Tony Gonzalez, Dave Wannstedt and Colin Cowherd. FOX NFL KICKOFF features weekly segments from Cooper Manning and regular guest appearances from current Redskins cornerback Josh Norman. The 11:00 AM ET pregame show, which airs immediately preceding FOX NFL SUNDAY, concluded its second season in 2016 with a 0.9/3 national household rating and 1.341 million viewers, a +14% improvement over the program’s 2015 average of 1.181 million viewers (0.8 HH). During the 2017 season, Vick will also make guest appearances on FOX NFL SUNDAY.

“It truly is a blessing to continue to be involved each and every Sunday during the NFL season and have a platform to speak about the game I love,” Vick said. “And to hop on and contribute to several of the FS1 studio shows and reunite with several former competitors during the week is icing on the cake.”

Already in 2017, Vick has been a guest on FS1’s SKIP AND SHANNON: UNDISPUTED, THE HERD WITH COLIN COWHERD and SPEAK FOR YOURSELF.

As the first truly elite dual-threat NFL prospect at the quarterback position, Vick was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the first overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. Vick enjoyed a 13-season NFL career as a unique figure who impacted the history of the league by redefining his position while simultaneously paving the way for future generations of NFL stars. In Vick’s first five seasons with the Falcons, he reached three Pro Bowls (2002, 2004 and 2005) and led the team to two playoff appearances, including the NFC Championship Game in 2004. However, his sixth and final season with Atlanta was his most prolific with the franchise; Vick broke the single-season rushing record for a quarterback and became the first quarterback in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.

Vick signed with the Philadelphia Eagles after the 2008 season and had a career year in 2010, amassing over 3,000 yards passing, close to 700 yards rushing and 30 total touchdowns, in addition to winning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award and being selected to his fourth Pro Bowl. He retired from the NFL after the 2016 season as the league’s all-time quarterback rushing leader, with more than 6,100 yards on the ground, 22,000 yards through the air, a career passer rating of 80.5 and 169 career touchdowns.

Vick is a proud supporter of the Boys & Girls club of Hampton Roads in Newport News, VA.

Fox Sports president Eric Shanks doubled down as outrage grew. “We absolutely and completely understand,” Shanks told USA TODAY Sports. “It’s not a different reaction than what we had prepared ourselves for internally at Fox Sports. We discuss it. We talk about what happened then. What type of person is Mike is now? What debt has he paid to society? We still believe it’s the right thing to do.”

The right thing to do? The f*cking right thing to do is to continue to NOT watch FOX NFL KICKOFF, FS1 studio shows, pig Katie Nolan (nicely nowhere to be found except on Twitter, unintelligible FS1’s SKIP AND SHANNON: UNDISPUTED, and racist THE HERD WITH COLIN COWHERD and SPEAK FOR YOURSELF.

But Family Guy is still good.
