Of the US Military budget, which was $583 billion dollars last year under Barack Obama's 2017 budget, Ocasio-Cortez said, "Just last year we gave the military a seven hundred billion dollar budget increase which they didn't even ask for. They're like, we don't want another fighter jet. Like, they're like, don't give us another nuclear bomb, ya know? They didn't even ask for it and we gave it to them."



'WE' gave 'THEM' a 700 billion dollar increase that they didn't even ask for. Oh my god. Explains a lot of Ocasio-Cortez' 'back of the envelope' figures and meeting with Nobel Prize winners.
