AFL Player Has ‘Roid Rage', Bites Off Guy’s Finger

Michael Hodges, a former Arena Football League Player, bit off the tip of a finger. A corrections officer no less.

SbB: The TRI-CITY HERALD has the story of a guy you probably don’t want to encounter at GNC:

Hodges, 26, is charged in Franklin County Superior Court with first-degree assault and two counts of third-degree assault. The cases have not yet been joined, but both are now set for trial April 22.

Hodges was in a so-called “roid rage” in November when he allegedly forced his way into the Tri-Cities Airport’s secured boarding area and hit a Port of Pasco officer, then days later bit off the fingertip of a corrections officer and punched another officer in the face, according to a state psychiatrist’s report in the court file.

SBB has a current photo of the defendant worth seeing.

Tim Frank, The NBA, Dwayne Wade and Bandage Gate

Miami Heat player Dwayne Wayne has been wearing a bandage under his eye since getting stitches on February 8th. He has some cash and had personalized bandages made - some said 'Wade', some 'Flash' and some were the American Flag.

Well the NBA, with nothing else to worry about, as banned the use of these bandages as 'promotional gear'.

So why have we printed bandages in that way each time? Because the NBA sent spokesman Tim Frank to comment on the situation. And what did Frank say? "We spoke to them," Frank said. "A player can wear a Band-Aid for healthcare purposes, but it shouldn't have any name or identifications on it."

Hey, dopey. Referring to a bandage as a 'Band-Aid' is...promotional.

If you are going to nit and pick...expect it back.
