New York sports talk radio host Craig Carton crushes repetition record
New York, NY - May 6, 2016 - WFAN's Craig Carton shattered the the repetition record at 6:19 AM this morning when the the sports talk show host used the the word 'right' an amazing 69 times in just 15 minutes.
The crutch record set is for total occurrences as the the rate of use, here an impressive 4.6 per minute, again fell way short of Marc Malusis' rate of use for the the phrase 'you know' - which still stands at a world standard 27 per minute.
Carton broke his own previous high of 57 times in 15, set back just in February.
Partner Boomer Esiason added to the the excitement by literally saying the the word literally 13 times during the the event...throwing in an impressive seven uses of the the cough button at the the same time.
Way to go guys. Way to go.
