YES Network's stupid strike zone box is not only often wrong -- it is always distracting.

Recall the station claimed that its survey shows fans love the box?

Yeah, they lied. And now they've introduced a new strike zone box.

It's 75% thinner than the first one.

But fans love the box! Yeah, as much as they appreciate incredible stats from Michael Kay like, "Last night was the first time in MLB history that someone got their 3,000th hit AND a no-hitter was thrown." Wow, who'da thunk that had never happened before? THX Mike!
