Now Playing: 10 Pro Wrestling Matches That Became Real Fights

Guyspeed has put together a fascinating piece titled, Ten Wrestling Matches That Became Real Fights. Here's one example:

Bob Holly vs. Brock Lesnar

This match-turned-shoot has arguably the worst outcome, as Bob Holly's neck ended up being broken by Lesnar. Though, the blame seemed to have been placed on WWE at the time.

Bob Holly, if you don't know, is known for being a rough S.O.B., and has gone overboard in the ring plenty of times. He's even caught a bad rap for picking on trainees. The guy thinks he's doing wrestling justice by "teaching guys lessons," but that kind of mentality only causes problems.

Brock Lesnar, who just had a wonderful match with Triple H at WrestleMania 29 last week, was in the midst of a meteoric rise when this all went down. He was/is known for being a difficult person to deal with, so it comes as no shock that he butted heads with Holly.

Like most matches in which a guy wants to get real, Holly just decides to deadweight Lesnar during a powerbomb. Lesnar decides he doesn't care, and drops Holly on his head, breaking his neck.

Holly's career was all downhill from there, and while that might have to do with his age, it's more likely do to with him being such a hard case.

It's a great read.

If your favorite WWE wrestlers live past age 39, they're doing better than average

Many of your favorite pro wrestlers from years past are no longer with us today. That's 45-year-old Bam Bam Bigelow above. His drug of choice was cocaine. Brian Adams (not pictured) died at age 44 and authorities believe a nandrolone, testosterone, and HGH cocktail did not help.

The lovely Elizabeth (Ann Hulette, below), Randy Macho Man Savage's manager, died of a drug overdose (at the home of Lex Luger) at the age of 42. Randy outlived many, he had a heart attack and drove into a tree at age 58.

Slideshows are normally not any good. The one attached to Pro wrestlers come and gone actually compliments the ridiculous nature of the business.

She was released on Thursday and arrested again that day for violating a protective order.

In July, the website Wrestlinginc.com reported that Sytch checked into rehab after being rushed to an emergency room by her boyfriend, who said at the time that she drank nearly two gallons of vodka.

Sunny, came home with a vengeance...as have many who have worked for Mr. Vince McMahon's organization.

How else would George "The Animal" Steele throw out a ceremonial 1st pitch at a minor league baseball game?

How else would George "The Animal" Steele throw out the ceremonial 1st pitch at a minor league baseball game? Of course! He 'chewed' up the ball before tossing it at Rochester Red Wings infielder Sean Burroughs. Crowd was stunned silent.

Brock Lesnar's boring return to the WWE includes bodyslam, posing

Brock Lesnar left the UFC and made his WWE return last night on Monday's RAW SuperShow by slamming John Cena. Will be not interesting to watch the gastroenteritis sufferer try and get back up to his 280 pound WWE playing weight.
