Bautista took a punch to the face from Texas' Rougned Odor during the fight. How would this have played out differently if it had involved the Mets and say, Chase Utley?

Utley gets hit. Takes first. Ground ball, Chase goes into 2nd hard. Again.

Not one member of this NY Mets team steps up and throws a punch. Not one. Wright? Bad back, arm. Duda? Giant but gentle. Walker or Cabrera? Meh. Not the punch throwing kind. d'Arnaud...would hurt something. On d'Arnaud. Plawecki...not quick enough to figure out what was going on. Cespedes? Not running in that far. Conforto? Pretty boy. Granderson? Pacifist.



Not a tough team. Not one bit. Not a good thing.
