New Jersey Devils to Host Facebook Live Stream Friday Night at the 2016 NHL Draft

Newark, NJ -- The New Jersey Devils will provide fans with unprecedented coverage of the 2016 NHL Draft on Friday night with live content from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo using Facebook Live. The Devils All-Access stream, featuring host Julie Robenhymer and analyst Ken Daneyko, will go live on the Devils and NHL’s Facebook pages as soon as the team is on the clock with the 11th pick overall.
The second-screen stream will include interviews with the Devils’ first round selection, front office executives and national media members covering the event, plus live fan questions. Fans can participate in real-time by submitting questions via Twitter using #NJDraft2016.
The Devils will be the first team in the NHL to use Facebook Live to stream content from the NHL Draft. Television coverage of the 2016 NHL Draft starts at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network and the Devils pick is expected to take place around 8:15 p.m. The Devils have a total of nine picks in the seven-round draft.
