Chari Hawkins almost boomeranged...her javelin throw

Utah State’s Chari Hawkins was at the U.S. Olympic track & field trials as part of the heptathlon qualifying...throwing a javelin.

Missed it by that much.



Hawkins placed 15th in the heptathlon. She posted on social media afterwards, ""How's it going?" 😂😂😂 The Internet says that I'm a contender for the worst javelin performance of all time with this beauty.... I should probably mention that hitting myself in the face with the jav handle while throwing still isn't even the most uncoordinated thing that I've done.. I've thrown worse😂"

Could have been worse, though.
