WFAN has killed Boomer & Carton's annual NFL Knockout Pool for 2016 due to 'inactivity.' We had first heard that they were not allowing the duo to run the pool as it 'took away from the eyes that should be on the daily fantasy football advertisers that the station pushes ad nauseum.' But the reason is 'inactivity' following sign up of too many of the participants. 'Heismanned' is the official term: Fans who sign up but then are knocked out because they don't bother to make a selection.
