Verizon moving email customers to...AOL?!

Verizon will no longer provide verizon.net email service. Instead they claim that they will focus on providing their internet, TV and phone customers the best experience possible.

So they didn't focus on providing their internet, TV, and phone customers the best experience possible before because they provided email service?

Verizon will move to AOL Mail to provide verizon.net email customers with AOL Mail, an enhanced email experience.

Might just be the first time someone 'moved' to AOL email since the company bought CompuServe 20 years ago...
