In the meantime, it appears that the poor horse is kept in an unkempt, unpainted, tiny stall devoid of enough hay.
What a great life these beautiful animals are forced to suffer through. The ugly truth about horse racing is owners abuse their horses. They force drugs in them (dozens die every week due to drug abuse), they beat them (often right out in the open), they live lives injured and in pain. The lucky ones don't win and are slaughtered.
And never forget ... Francesa once interviewed Secretariat. So he should know better.
