Boomer Esiason tells WBZ-FM more than he told his WFAN audience this morning:
- Boomer Esiason found out Craig was arrested while he was on air after Bob's Blitz announced it.
- He hopes to stabilize WFAN and the Boomer and Carton show with some answers moving forward.
- Yeah, he doesn't know if Phil Simms is up to the task of working 5 mornings a week because he won the Super Bowl.
- WFAN wants B&C show to have a bit more of an entertainment edge to it.
- He's heartbroken and doesn't know what direction he's going in.
- Talked to Craig Carton for 3 minutes this weekend.
- Doesn't want to talk about it too much because there are those in the public who have 'already made up their minds' that Carton is a felon.
- It was 'hard to say' whether or not there were any problems in Craig's life over the past 10 years.
- Dropped a 'Craig was on new RLS medicine' the past few weeks nugget.
- He is lost and heartbroken.
- Revealed that Craig said he 'is going to clear his name' - something he didn't reveal later on CBS/WFAN.
- Mike Francesa said the station would come out of this in a better place...
- Doesn't know if there's another guy out there he can build the relationship to levels he had with Craigy.
