Boomer Esiason hosts interviews with sports personalities from the past...
"Come at me, bitch," tough guy and Super Bowl legend Boomer Esiason (who has a way with words) continues to have a need to talk, and all that other stuff. Coming Saturday 9/14/19 to literally dozens of markets (including Peachtree TV Canada!) is Boomer with Billie Jean King. Locally it'll air on CBS-NY at 5:30 AM against a MyPillow ad.
That most compelling dialogue will be followed by already interviewed to death on WFAN Joe Namath, Ron Darling, and Keith Hernandez. Oh, and of course, Mark Messier and Nadia Comaneci.
“I look forward to sitting down with some of the most compelling figures in the sports and entertainment world to explore their defining journeys,” Esiason said in a news release. “Each episode will offer rich human interest stories and provide fans the opportunity to get a better insight on their favorite personalities, both personally and professionally.”
At the end of the day this is, you know, a program nobody asked for. It'll be interesting to see whether now weekend morning Boomer opens with 'Come at me, bitch,' with any of his guests given that it's a Saturday and, ya know, morning.
