The Bombers Boomer Broadway Softball Classic takes place June 27th at Yankees Stadium following a live broadcast of the Boomer and Carton show.. Proceeds from the inaugural doubleheader (last years event was cancelled) classic will go to the Boomer Esiason Foundation and The Actor’s Fund. Here's the current list of celebs that are expected to attend:Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton; Cake Boss "Buddy" Valastro, Secret Life's Steve Schirripa, CNBC host Maria Bartiromo, "Good Day New York" hosts Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto. Athletes include David Wells, Jeff Nelson, Jesse Barfield, Cecil Fielder, Joe Pepitone, Charlie Hayes and Mike Stanley.
Broadway stars face off in the first game [11 AM] with the WFAN, ahem, All-Stars and TV personalities playing the New York Yankees alumni in the second game at 1 PM. Playbill reports that Catch Me If You Can's Aaron Tveit and Tom Wopat along with The House of Blue Leaves' Edie Falco will we there. Mike Francesa is not expected to reprise his stellar high school baseball play.
